Cold test is an on-line engine testing process. It is used to test five systems of engine without combustion after engine assembly. It is usually at the end of engine assembly line. The cold test-bench rotates the engine flywheel by servo system, and detects it by various sensors connected to the engine. The test system calculates the data according to the data, and compares the results with the template data, so as to find the quality problems of engine assembly or parts.
Hot test of the engine is to test the ignition of the engine. The engine can be ignited on the bench. After ignition, the engine parameters such as speed, fuel pressure temperature, water temperature and ignition advance angle can be tested.
